Baby Hailey arrived early.

This past week has been an emotional rollercoaster.  A week ago today I had no idea that my normal pregnancy would take a drastic turn and my water would break!!!

Since the hospitals near us aren’t equipped properly to handle such early births, I was air lifted to Spokane, WA.  It was a very scary night but baby and I made it there safely and I ended up not delivering for a couple of days on Dec 18th 1:39am!!!   She is a trooper and doing so well.  It was assumed that she was only 34 weeks but her doctor says because of how well she is doing that she probably is a bit older!!!

She is still in the NICU and it has been rough for me to be away from her like this.  Nathan and Kyle have been by my side and we are getting through the stress.  Tonight we get to check into the Ronald McDonald house where we can stay while Hailey is treated.  That is such a blessing for us right now.

I feel bad that the birthday party I planned for Kyle had to be canceled and he missed all the christmas parties at school.  His actual Birthday is tomorrow and I feel so bad we won’t be home to celebrate.  We don’t even know where we will be for Christmas.

I have shed a lot of tears and also been able to smile.  This is just been really emotionally draining for me.  So much has happened and really pushed me over the edge.

Well I need to pack up a few items to bring back.  We came home this afternoon to get clothes and such.  We have had nothing with us for a week!

Please keep us in your prayers thank you

I was a preemie. I’m 31 now. Everything turned out fine with me except I have hearing loss, which I don’t mind. Good luck! (Found you on random)
