I needed today…

So if you read my previous entry it was obvious that I was in a very foul mood that had been growing over the last few days.  Sometimes it just helps to get it all off your chest so to speak.  Right now I am sitting here with hair dye in my hair and unwinding from a busy day.

It was nice that Nathan, took Kyle and I out for a brunch at IHOP.  Kyle was his adorable self, making everyone around us smile and want to say hi.  We really did have a fun brunch and ate very well.

Then we dropped Kyle off at my brothers and got ready to go into Nampa to meet with Travis about renting the Sandstone for the Wedding and Reception.  The place is perfect for us and not too ridiculously priced.  We put down a deposit and reserved it and decided on tables and the colors for the linens and having the side room for food and the bar.  The main room has a dance floor and comes with a DJ.  There is a nice cake table set up and I want a cornicopia set up on there with pumkins and leaves and other fall decorations.

The Chapel is so cute.  I love the setting up at the alter with all the tulle and lights and candelabra’s.  Nathan and I REALLY liked how that looked.  I do NOT want a runner.  They get tangled and torn and look bad after everyone has gone down it.

Afterwards we were headed to Walgreens to pick up some allergy meds and refill some RX.  It was there that the underwire of my bra just snapped in half poking me.  To see I was a bit startled by this, is an understatement.

I had Nathan head over to Shopko across the street to see if I could find a new bra.  This is the third one in two months to have done this to me.  *sighs*  Yes they were well over a year old but still!

Oh we also went to Sally’s Beauty supplies where I got some hair dye and bleach and pink dye for highlights.  Yes I am going a bit radical.  I figure, since I am now at a work place where it won’t be frowned upon and it is well enough before the Wedding, I would just have some fun with my hair.

We also made a trip to the Dollar Store where we picked up ssome crayons and a coloring book for Kyle.  Nathan also found Kyle a hammerhead shark that of course Kyle loves.

I did start feeling sick again near the end of the day but I rested and had some 7 up and am feeling better.  For dinner we BBQ’ed some chicken tenderloin and had stuffing on the side.

Tomorrow I need to finish packing up stuff to bring over to house sit for the next month.  Our housemates will be here taking care of this place while we are gone.  Then on Friday I return to work as long as I am doing as well as I am right now!!!  YAY!  Of course I am going in extra early to work a few extra hours.  I want to make up for some of my lost time.  As of June 23rd, I get sick pay and vacation pay so if I have to miss work it won’t hurt us so much financially.

Oh I thought I was dreaming last night that Nathan and Kyle were up around 4am playing.  I found out it wasn’t a dream.  Kyle had gone to bed before Nathan was home and wasn’t happy about it.  He woke up once crying for Daddy and fortunately Nathan was home and consoled him and reassured him that he was home and tucked him back into bed.  However later on around 4am Kyle woke up calling for Daddy again and was wide awake and wanted to play.  Nathan being a very awesome father stayed up playing with him for about a half an hour and then explained how they both need to get more sleep and they all went back to bed.

Plus I had a great email conversation with a very dear friend.  We both went through a lot when I was back in California and have been able to move forward from everything that happened around us and to us and reconnect.  I was in my own personal hell and had no idea the pain and suffering they were going through also.  It just feels good to have good friends back in my life whom I can relate to and laugh with and share the good times with and how much happier I am now with my family and the way life is.

I’m glad to hear the wedding seems to be falling into place.
