A Mom’s Life with a sick child….

so Kyle has been really sick these last couple of days and EXTRA clingy.  I have stayed home with him and am eager for a break from lil dude sitting or sleeping on me.  He wouldn’t eat yesterday nor drink much.  I am so glad that he just finally ate something just now.

He is sitting on my lap and playing with my hair and making it look crazy as I type this. since yesterday morning I have watched over 15 hours of sponge bob.  Yes that much sponge bob is killing me.  He has had no energy to do much of anything but watch sponge bob.  Needless to say I am burnt out and relish the evening when he went to bed for a few hours without waking and there was no sponge bob.

When he did wake up around 10pm last night he was so sick and miserable and feverish.  I put him in to bed with me to be near him.  Nathan was still up and on my computer since Teh Geek Squad are still working on his system.  anyways, while in bed he wanted me to put sponge bob on in there.  NO WAY!  He started to whine and cry and I told him if he didn’t stop I would get Awnee "that is Nathan" in here and put him in his own bed and Awnee would be disappointged in him.  He didtn’t stop until I yelled for Nathan and Kyle sat up  and stopped whining and just stared at the door.  He waited a few seconds then laid down quietly and snuggled up to sleep.

I can’t believe how well that worked!  LOL

Well I am hoping he is going ot go down for a nap soon and I can sit in peace and quiet and enjoy a cup of coffee.

I just can’t deal with ANYMORE SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS!!!
