3rd Entry today- A nice day so far

Nathan and I managed to get some really good sleep and are well rested for once.  Although we have the party tonight, we have been able to relax and still get a lot of errands done.  Kyle is down for a nap and Nathan and I are enjoying some peace and quiet.  Last month was so crazy and busy.  We moved in together.  That was a huge but wonderful step in our lives.  Kyle is happier then ever with Nathan around.  That means so much to me.

So this morning I was up after 8 solid hours of sleep with Kyle.  Yeah we were up early but I got a ton of good sleep.  We had a lot of fun playing cars and with his building blocks.  I love my Saturday mornings with my son.  We always have a lot of fun.  Nathan slept in and woke up later feeling great.  This was the first weekend in a month that we didn’t need to wake up and move stuff to our new house. 

It is such a great feeling.  We still have a few boxes to unpack but it is nothing too important.  I do need to organize my walk in closet.  Those are things I can do next weekend.

Well today when everyone was up, we all got dressed and piled into the SUV and headed out.  Our first place on our agenda was to pay the rent.  After we left the management office, we had to run to work and pick up a few things we left there yesterday.  Most importantly was my phon e charger and Nathan and I both left our black trench coats there.  Kyle was so good when we went to the office.  Of course he was also uber cute and everyone there who saw him were all in awe. 

Our next trip was to Fred Meyer.  We needed to do some shopping for the party there.  We totally bought a ton of appetizers and fun foods and soda for the party.  Kyle was wonderful at the store.  We found some great micro brews we have never tried while there.  We just tried one with lunch and WOW it was great. 

After going to Fred Meyer we headed to the Liquor Store and picked up stuff for the party.  We left there with rum, vodka and tequila!  I am sure everyone will enjoy the variety. 

We totally forgot to grab a bite to eat and just headed home. 

So after Kyle was done for his nap, Nathan and I put everything away, cleaned up the living room and ordered pizza to have with some of the beer we bought. 

Kyle hasn’t woken up yet but I am sure it will be soon.  It is going on 3pm and the party is at 8pm.  We have a few things do pick up around the house.  That really will not take too long.  I then have to drop Kyle off about 5pm at my brothers. 

You bet my son is going to be at my brother’s tonight.  I do not want him around and awaken by the party tonight.  I will pick him up in the morning.  I know he will be safe and have a blast playing with his counsins.    They always are asking if Kyle can stay the night.  LOL
