more surprises

Not the good kind though.  My alarm went off at 10am at the same time I get a text from my supervisor at the store.  The SO for the morning shift called out.  I tell her to give me a bit to shower and dress, I’ll come in.  She of course thanks me profusely (text & when I walk in) because otherwise they’d have been trying to field customer calls and questions all day on top of dealing with customers in the store.  It was a good morning.  Steady but not super busy.  Had a customer get really lippy and nasty on the phone with me but other than that it was a good morning.

Now I’m sitting down and eating lunch, paying some bills and over-all trying to get stuff done on my to-do list that I think is going to have to wait until tomorrow.  You see, I have to go BACK to the store at 5 for MY shift until10:30.  Joy right? Lol

It’s okay.  I can’t complain, it’s hours after all and I need hours.  I have to run over to the bank and the gas station too so I’ll probably head out and do that soon.  Traffic is heavy today for some reason.  I was going to stop and get gas on the way home earler but I managed to forget my wallet, doy!  Oh well.

My budgeting has brought me to a rough $50 for the rest of the week.  Which is not bad considering now that Isaac has left I don’t really do much or go out much.  I’m packing my lunch a lot on my long days but I’ve some short days coming up.  I’m driving less too.  It’s working out and I’m thankful for small favors at this point.  I’ll keep working at it so that things continue to get easier/more under control in the coming weeks.

I started looking at vacation stuff.  I need to really make sure I set aside money diligently if I’m going to make this happen and really get to enjoy it!  *deep breath*
