grumpyface

No Isaac tonight.  No puppy love tonight.  Jer’s death & funeral.  Finding out we are going to start staying open until flipping midnight next week at the pharmacy, guess who gets to close 2 nights in a row next week, that’s right, this girl!  Still need to check my schedule for the store but chances are I won’t have a day off next week.

Upside, I’m cashing in my vacation time (a whole 6-7 hours I think that I earned in the last 2 months being fulltime.  I guess you earn it for every 100 hours or so you work, not sure.  Note to self: ask.)  Hopefully that 6-7 hours will show up next week since I told my manager that’s what I wanted to do tonight.  I’ll remind her the next time I see her.  As it is I’m already scheduled to work 34.5 hours next week.  That’s good since they’ve been really cutting it close on my hours for the last 2 weeks.  It’ll help since my first phone bill is $120 (mind you the first is always more expensive because it’s pro-rated for the month you started the plan as well.  So I’m paying for the time since I started the plan as well as for the month of January.)  I can already see that my normal bill is going to sit right around $70 which isn’t bad since I’m paying insurance for the phone too on top of my plan so that’s an addition $10 I think on my $70 plan itself.  Obviously I’ll see all of this work itself out in January when I get my next bill.

I’m not worried about paying my bills since I’ve already planned it out and other than Isaac (and possibly his family, still undecided) I have my Christmas shopping pretty much done.  I can get my cousin’s gift after Christmas since they won’t be coming up until the week afterwards.  Yay after-Christmas clearance lol.  Plus she’s a 10 year old girl.  She’s not that expensive.  So really money shouldn’t be that bad this month even though it’s Christmas.  I’ll still have to be careful and watch my spending since I also need to start looking at either car repairs or saving up to get a new (or new-to-me at least) car in March.  My car barely passed inspection last year, really it involved them looking the other way and us promising we’d fix it soon.  Obviously it hasn’t happened.  *sigh*  Not sure who I feel about getting a new car.  It’s expensive.  Another payment of $100+ a month that I don’t know if I can handle.  So I’m looking but very tentatively right now.  Mostly just getting a feel of what my options might be.

Ok, I’m going to go and be grumpyface now since all my plans for the weekend have gone to hell in a handbasket.

Xx
