deep breath

Today was not a good day.  It wasn’t a bad day persay but it wasn’t a good day either.

I spent most of last night on the phone with Caleb.  I love that boy.  He is by far one of the best friends I have in the world.  The sad truth is though he’s so scarred, he waits for the day when I bail on him.  It’s not going to happen but he still worries about, I know he does, he has admitted it to me.  Poor kid.  But it was good to get to talk to him and for so long.  I’m really looking forward to my trip up to Pitt to see him.  6 hours in a car with him though is going to be tough.  Especially since we’ll be leaving at 5am or so.  Ugh!  But it’ll be fun to go up and spend a week with him and get to do the whole tourist thing with him in Pitt.  No idea when it’ll happen yet because he has to get his school schedule and I have to request off.  He’s talking about doing it the week before Christmas.  I’m not sure about that but we’ll see.  I’ve got to make sure I start saving some money for the trip.  It may not be on my dime necessarily but I’d like to have some money so I can buy souvenirs and stuff!

Still haven’t talked to Kale.  3 days later.  Yeah, I’m hurt and kind of pissed…okay a lot of pissed.  Obviously he didn’t enjoy my company as much as he told me he did or he would miss me enough already to have called or something.  But nope, nothing.  F#cker.  Just another notch on a long list of stupid guys and stupid mistakes I’ve made.  Just have to move on and remember why I don’t date and don’t get involved with guys anymore.  Yup, exhibit A.  And B and C and D…and well, lots of exhibits.  *sigh*
