well then
So I have had an interesting day. Neither good nor bad, just interesting.
I was ‘God blessed’ several times at work and actually had one older gentleman tell me that women are the second best thing God put on the earth (The first being Christ). That made me giggle. We also had a conversation today about Lent and what our supervisor should give up for Lent, she was trying to decide and one of the girls started talking about how a can of soda is equal to a tub of lard lol. And so are Oreos. I went home and proceeded to have 2 sodas and about a dozen Oreos, LMAO!! So glad I don’t follow Lent. I’d be screwed. I’d have to give something up for 40 days, ugh, no way.
Then after I got off I tried to go to the library to pick up some new books. There was a car stranded in the parking lot and it’s a TINY parking lot, so tiny it’s a one way parking lot with about 20 parking spaces in it okay? Tiny itty bitty. So I tried to give them a jump. Some bluehair comes through saying we should move the car out of the way of traffic. She of course didn’t bother to offer to help us or find someone to help us move said 2 1/2 ton vehicle. And if a car dies, it doesn’t have power steering, so it is REALLY moving a 2 1/2 ton vehicle. She got on my nerves. We didn’t get the car jumped and from the sound of the engine I think her starter might be bad or possibly a spark plug because she got no power to the engine even with the jumper cable. We finally ended up (with help from 3 other good Samaritans) pushed the car into one of the parking spots. Said parking spot was actually vacated by a VERY rude woman who insisted we needed to move the cars out of her way so she could leave. She then proceeded to REVERSE her way out of the parking lot rather than, oh I don’t know, help us or wait. Which is just as well it turned out. People are rude and selfish these days I swear.
Now I’m sitting here debating going to Micheal’s because I am being crafty for the new family girls and making them picture frames. I also want to make a frame for Quinn’s little that he is taking this semester because it’s this guy who I think is so cute! He is a freshman and he’s so funny and sweet and I think he will be a good little for Quinn. But I want to make a frame for him similar to the one I painted for Quinn for his birthday. Quinn said it was ok if I wanted to paint one for him. So I might go do that. The problem is I still need to pay $40 to the DMV for my plate stickers but I don’t know if I want to pay it now or wait until Friday when I get double-paid. It would give them a week to mail them to me but I’d also get a temp card to have in my car in the meanwhile so I don’t think it would matter. I need to get the decals by the 28th though so maybe I will go ahead and wait. Still have to pay my credit card bill but it’s $20 and due on Friday, so maybe I will go ahead and pay that tonight/tomorrow.
And I will be going to Micheal’s and getting crafty. I work a lot this week. I work at the pharmacy tomorrow 12-4 because we have a flu clinic and they forgot about it when writing the schedule then I work 5-9:30 at BBY, then I work 10-5 and 1-8 on Friday and Saturday. No idea what I’m working next week at either job. I hope I get a day off at least somewhere in there lol. Okay, off to get crafty supplies I guess.
