keep getting better

Well I am doing better than I was in my last entry.  My cuts have been healing up very well.  They really do look like cat-scratches and oddly enough I have 2 kittens I could blame for them.  No one has noticed them of course so I haven’t needed to explain anything.

Quinn came up and spent the weekend.  He got here Friday afternoon and just left a few hours ago.  He had to leave early this morning because he had choir practice at 1:30pm.  He has it every Sunday afternoon other than on breaks (ie-campus closed lol)  He and 2 of his brothers have closed rehearsal at 1:30 and then the whole frat has choir practice at 2:15.  They usually get done about 4.  If I could have gone down to see him I would have but I couldn’t.  Hopefully next weekend I’ll be down there for Oktoberfest.  It will be nice.

I have my final interview with Best Buy on Wednesday afternoon.  As I predicted, I’ll be lucky to hear back about getting a job by the weekend much less to start training and stuff.  But still.  It’s good news I know, even if it’s not the job I really want.  It’s a job to see me through until I at least get my Tech liscensure.  Then I can get a real pharmacy job plus I’ll be going to school again.  I’m beginning to think it won’t be grad school though as I haven’t received back any of my letters of recommendation from the professors I’ve talked to about it.  Kind of annoys me.  So I might have to go back for my second bachelor’s just so I can freaking get letters of recommendation.  Unless I get some from my bosses but even so, I don’t think I’d have very convincing letters in time for applying for grad school (deadline is June 1, recommended Dec 1) plus I still have to sign up for my GRE test.  Grad school keeps looking further and furthery away.  But at least I’ll have a liscensure so I can work pharm tech while going for my second bachelors, and that’s good money if I can work full time, even part time.  Average is $10/hour so even working 20 hours/week means $200 a week.  So I would hopefully have the money for rent and stuff.  It’s still a wait-and-see thing though.

Xx
