horoscopes, littles & relay for life
I am aiming to be productive today, in all aspects of my life. I am finishing painting my family board for my little. When I am done goofing around on the internet (also called answering all my emails) then I will go back to studying for my A&P test tomorrow morning. Then eventually tonight I have to be in the chapter room for workshops. Thankfully our workshops don’t take very long. Almost makes me wish they would start earlier and have more of them grouped in the same night. As most of our workshops only take 15 minutes we could easily do 4 in a night and only be there an hour, maybe an hour and a half. And if you start at 7:30 or so? Well bam, you’re done for a week! But I have no say in it, only exec has say in the calendar schedule so whatever.
You know there are days my horoscope really amuses me too. Check out today’s prediction:
Get thee to center stage and prepare to play the leading role of the drama you call your life! But don’t think you’ll be able to carry the whole performance on your own now. With so many planets in your 7th House of Partners, you’ll be happier in the company of others. Sharing the spotlight is easier for you today, as long as you can find someone special who is willing to co-create the scene with you.
Is that cool or what? Haha!
So Relay for Life is coming up in April. I am going to be on a team for my sorority which should be fun. I am also going to be on a committee (hopefully) for Habitat for Humanity for Act, Speak, Build week which is the last week of March (I think). That should be fun. I’m super excited.
You know you’re starting to enjoy life again when you can get excited, not only about new good things in your life but about everything in your life. I was excited to get out of the shower and straighten my hair!! I hate straightening my hair and I usually don’t bother during the week because I have all morning classes and I take a shower at night and then my hair gets frizzy and curly overnight and I don’t usually bother (at 11pm) to straighten my hair before going to bed. And it takes like 30 minutes to straighten my hair so doing it in the morning is O-U-T!! I am not up for messing with a straightening iron at 7am. No, you are lucky that I got my butt out of bed at 7am. But I was excited to straighten my hair because my hair looks good straight (it looks good curly too but usually I still have to fuss with it to make it look nice). I’ve gotten into the habit this semester of just throwing my hair up either in a ponytail or a bun or a clip. But usually I don’t bother to do anything to it. That was a big sign for me that things in my life are getting better whether I realize it or not half the time. I’m excited to do my hair and look pretty again.
Ok, I need to go and accomplish some more things with my day. But I am not dead…again…yet…. : )
