cleaning up the mess

As promised, I’m finally updating.  heh.

So, beginning my weekend…

I packed up my things and headed to B’s Friday night.  Watched some tv, played some games.  He got home from work; we cuddled a bit, had some good sexxins, and went to bed.  I woke up Saturday morning with a pit of lead in my stomach, that sick feeling like something is going to go wrong before the day is over.  So of course this made me very cuddly because I wanted comfort, someone to tell me it was going to be ok.  Problem is that I’m pretty good at pre-cognitive moments like that and usually I end up being right.  And I was proven right before the end of the day.  I’m driving to my folks’ place from B’s and things are going ok.  I’m in the left lane of traffic doing 70mph.  All of a sudden my speedometer just starts falling and even though my foot is on the gas and I’m using everything I can I can’t get the car to come back up to speed so I have to cut across 3 lanes of fast and heavy traffic to pull off the road.  I ended up continuing to have to fight the stupid thing home but I made it.  Then I worked from 2 to 10 at the store.  Afterwards I went to my friend Angel’s for a party.  The dj ended up being a no-show and of course Angel was understandably pissed so she ended up getting sick-drunk and we all dipped out pretty early.  Spent Sunday cleaning before going to work, got off work and came home to continue cleaning.  Angel ended up calling me about 9 and wanted me to come over and keep her company.  So I went over and we watched Sweeney Todd which was pretty good, different but good.

Then Monday I spent the day cleaning and running errands.  Mom’s surgery was supposed to be from 10-noon that day but she ended up being in there from 11-5pm.  I also ended up being called in 2 hours early for work and ended up working 6-midnight.  Inventory went smoothly and so we were out of their on time thankfully.  Got up about 8am Tuesday morning, hit the road and made it back to school at 10:30am, just enough time to take a shower and clean up before my first final at 11:30.  It’s a standardized test and the average score is 154…I got 153.  Which I’m pretty impressed with since I’m technically missing one of the classes I’m supposed to have taken in order to pass the class and the test. LOL.  Got home from that test and started studying for organic chem.  Waste of time.  Ended up not recognizing almost half of the stuff on the ACS test but that’s ok.  I’m praying hard that I’ll pass all of my classes.  All I need are C- and I’ll be ok.

Spent today after the test cleaning and packing.  Filled out, filed, and paid for my commencement paperwork.  Still cleaning and packing but it’s ok.  I have nothing to do tomorrow.  It’s supposed to be really warm again finally (we had a cold snap move through this weekend) so I intend to take a dip in the pool and finish packing.

My room is so empty-looking and sterile now that I’ve taken all the stuff off the walls and cleaned off the dresser, nightstand and most of the desk.  The closet is empty, my dresser is mostly empty.  The only things left are the clothes I’ll need for the next few days.  Only a few more things left to pack up and put away.  Then I have to clean up my room, vacuum, dust and such.  Then when B comes down Friday night I won’t have to worry about any of it.  And Saturday all we have to do is take the stuff down to the cars and pack up.  I have a noon checkout on Saturday and I intend to sleep in on my first official weekend of summer cuddled up with my beau. ^_^  The only sucky thing about it is that I got my period this morning and while mine usually only last 3-4 days there is probably no way it will be done by Friday night.  Not to mention that my suitemates will still be here.  Grrr, I really want mah sexxins too, stupid hormones!!!! *headdesk*

Ah well.  I’m off to do some more tidying up I think.

*luv ya bunches*
