Proof of dorkiness!!

Ok, so in case anyone didn’t know I’m a bit of a dork, nerd, whatever you want to call it, I will prove it now, only because I’m totally psyched!

I run an RP (role-play) based off this comic series called Elfquest.  My RP is called Clans of the Mist.  It is only very loosely based off EQ.  It’s set in a medieval time period with a lot of Celtic and Scottish influence on it.  Anyway!  I’ve only been running it since about October-ish although I’ve been planning and scheming it for over a year now in bits and pieces.  It started out as an idea for a story but I couldn’t figure out an ending so I turned it into a RP.  (Yes there’s a point to this and I’m getting to it!)

MY RP WON AN AWARD!!!  Every year there is a group award event called Golden Wolf Awards.  My RP took for Favorite Group Less than 1 year old.  *SQUEALS IN UTTER HAPPINESS*  I was also nominated for Fave Moderator and one of our characters took the award for Favorite Craftsman.  It was so cool because I totally hadn’t been repping the group at all for the awards since we were so young and all.  Squeeeeeee!!

So I just had to share that with everyone.

On another note: my family put a hole in our attic/ceiling.  They decided to put away Christmas decor even though I told them to wait and sure enough, they managed to make a mess of things.  There is now a 3 foot hole in our laundry ceiling from the attic.  LLC!!!  I can’t leave them alone for one minute. 

This happened while I was shopping btw.  I bought a really cute shirt and a purse, then I also bought a new snowflake charm for my necklace since my other one kind of kicked the bucket.  I also bought my roomie’s Xmas gift.  I prefer buying gifts when they’re on sale.  : )  I know she’ll like it because it’s this little figurine from the set she collects called Willow Tree Angels.  It’s cute.  So I also went into Victoria’s Secret looking at all the stuff on sale for their Semi-annual.  I also got measured while I was in there since I have begun suspecting I grew a bit since none of my usual bras are fitting right anymore…I was right.  I am now in a DD…. *cries*  I didn’t want to admit it to myself but I know that my bras not fitting right is part of the reason my shoulders have been aching so much lately. *sigh*  Oh well.  Nothing to do for it now.  It’s weird though because I’ve lost five pounds this week and everyone has been telling me lately that I look like I’m losing weight even though I’m really not….maybe it’s that my boobs grew and it just makes the rest of me look even smaller…XD  LMAO.  I have a perfect hourglass silhoutte anyway so maybe having bigger boobs just makes me look smaller from their down.  ROFL!!!  I don’t know and I don’t really care.  I went out and bought some new bras and we’ll see how it goes.  (And no, they’re aren’t Victoria’s Secret because I don’t feel like spending $38 on a bra when I can buy one just as cute and just as well-made someplace else for $15.  ;p  Sorry, I’m not a label whore nor am I made of money. 

Oh well.  I can’t wait to go out tomorrow night for Sissy’s birthday.  I have invited a couple other people to go but even if it’s just me and her it’ll be fun.  I may go get a new pair of shoes just for the occasion!  (Yeah right, like I need an excuse to buy new shoes!!! LMAO)  I’ll get a pair to match my new shirt.  : )
