Ugh

So I’m online for the first time in over 24 hours.  I don’t think I’ve ever actually gone a full day without being online since I got my laptop and the DSL…:   That’s kind of sad.  But anyway.

Work yesterday was pretty good.  The alarm clock started going off at 5am, I snoozed it until 5:30am then finally kicked myself out of bed and got dressed, grabbed my uniform and left the house.  I swung by the McD’s by work and got there with only a minute or two to spare.  Ate my breakkie then set to work.  9:15am rolls around and the phone rings (we don’t open until 10am so normally only employees of the company call before opening).  It was the opener calling in sick.  My boss looks at me and asks if I want to stay later, until 2pm.  I shrug and say sure, I didn’t have any other plans for the day.  Good thing I brought my uniform to work I couldn’t have done it after all.  So I worked from 6am to 2pm, which was actually the same schedule as my boss.  But it works, helps make up for the fact that I didn’t work Monday or Tuesday and that I’m not working today either.  I am not working Saturday and I may or may not be working on Friday.  But I am working Sunday…inventory….yay.  I was originally scheduled 6-11am but one of the other girls asked so switch with me because she has a banquet for her husband (who is Navy) that same evening and she was scheduled 2-6pm.  I can’t believe in less than 2 weeks I’ll be back at school.  I think I will leave Saturday though instead of Sunday.  I still have to go to the bookstore and get my books, plus I have done NO studying for O chem.  : (  Not that I haven’t thought about it or tried but in this house it’s almost impossible.  I can’t shut my door and be left alone here like I do at school.  No one even bothers to knock here, they just barge in.  I could be nekkid and they’d just shove right on into my room and sit down and start telling me a list of chores to do today.  I’d be standing there staring at them like "WTF?  Get out, I’m trying to get dressed" and they’d be completely oblivious.  C’est la vie. 

I’m not scheduled to work next Saturday so that’s why I’m thinking of going down a day early.  I might get in trouble for it since we’re not supposed to be back until Sunday but I have to make sure I have my books.  Which means I need to go to the book-store before Monday and if everyone comes back Sunday…draw the conclusion.  And I can’t order them online or anything because the school still has my loan refund and won’t let me see that money for many more weeks. :   But they notify the bookstore of who has refund credits on their account and the store applies our books to that amount.  And since I think I only need three books, maybe not even three, it might only be two, it should be ok.

Ok, well, on that note, I have things to do.  Most of them school related.  Plus a few phone calls to make.  Just letting you guys know that I’m not dead yet.  : )
