They’re Coming to Take me Away (Haha!)

The world is a cruel place. It’s…11:45 AM and I haven’t slept yet. Why? Because my best friends and soon to be former roommates have driven me to the edge of insanity and despair, and then gave me a gentle yet purposeful nudge towards the other side of rational thought.

Having no car has forced me to unemployment, briefly of course, but nevertheless I enjoyed my job and was doing quite well at it. On top of that their general level of immaturity is forcing the house to fall apart. I haven’t been there in a month and the bills have backed up, the rent wasn’t paid last month and doesn’t seem very likely that it will not be paid this month either thus forcing an eviction.

It makes me want to scream. Well, not really, that wouldn’t be very productive. Having spent the past year and a half supporting them financially and in terms of upkeep and maintenance I’m rather sick of it. Unfortunately it seems as though I will probably loose them as friends over this.

The household is not getting all my money again, it’s not happening. I’m over it. So, I just have to come up with plans dealing with the eventuality.

On the plus side I’ve spent the past two weeks accumulating trance/dance/house-ebm/darkwave/synthpop/futurepop/industrial music. Now I’m working on a collection of meditation/Zen/yoga music. First reason: Audio Surf. An amazing "game." I suggest anyone who likes music and action/puzzle games check it out. Basically you select a car, each car has different rules/goals. My favorite is Vegas where you can randomize the board and random power ups spawn. Then you select a song either from the Internet radio OR any mp3, ogg, m3u, flac, wav, or any sound/music file. Then, the game turns the song into a track with various colored blocks that you have to pick up to get 3 or more of a kind connected for points, the more of a color that’s blocked together the higher the point value (at a non-linear rate thus making you want to collect as many of a color as you can) but if you fill a row with colors that don’t form a block you loose 10% of your score so you don’t want to do that. The tempo of the track determines how fast you go along the track, then the beat and other various factors crank out the peaks and valleys of the track. It’s so addictive and fun, and the background and everything make it like an interactive visualization.

Reason two, an experiment.

More not bad news, I made chipolte lime pork chops that were yummy with homemade french fries, anyway, the middle bones of the pork chops the ones that are shaped kinda like: /=======/ Yeah, I bleached them and now I’m washing them to get the bleach off. They shall be earrings.

I’m also doing research into Celtic magic as well as Nordic Rune magic/Rune casting/Bindrunes/etc. To top that off I think I’m going to do some research on Shamanistic traditions, and Native American traditions in general. Possibly the Akashtic traditions…

Hmm…gives me something to do.
