Ode to the Iris

I’m always amazed at the beauty of the Iris in comparison to the care that they receive. They receive water very infrequently, fed a couple of times a year and yet they produce the most intricate and colorful blooms, year after year. You can see the California Poppies are also in bloom. And, our little ‘forest’ of trees all have leaves. LOL We were totally surprised (and pleased) at their rapid growth.  Enjoy…

I won’t show you all of the trees, but this is typical of their growth. And the weeds aren’t doing half-bad either!
