Progress on No. 2

The center is pieced and I have the first border sewn on. The next border will be wider and will finish off the top. Then it’s lay out the backing, put down the batting, lay the top on and pin that thing like there’s no tomorrow!

I’m a bit concerned at the waffling of the top, but am hoping that the quilting/stitching will deal with that. I plan on doing ‘stitch in the ditch’ between each of the strips, following the lines of the Z’s. Then I’ll go back and do the two strips in the middle of each "Z".

I hope to have this one finished by Wed. when I can present it to my friends at our monthly breakfast. I sure hope she doesn’t get all teary-eyed on me again! LOL

As Seedys says, Blessed be!

Ohhhh Ireally like this pattern and the fabric colors!! You don’t put pressure on yourself do you? Wednesday? I’m sure you will work on this all day today. Speaking of which I plan to cut out and hopefully get sewing on a baby quilt myself.
