One down, one to go
I’m sure other quilters feel like I do as I get down the last bit of work on a quilt. You almost fall in love with it. I surely felt that way with this first baby quilt. It was just so lovely I almost hated to give it away, but give it I did. And my friend cried when she saw it (as I knew she would). The binding is actually white, although it looks pinkish in this photo.
Carl (or is it Bob??) hasn’t brought any more gifts, which makes me a very happy camper. I think Carl has been in a fight — with who or what, I haven’t a clue. He had a scratch on his nose and wouldn’t let me look at it… he kind of avoided us for a couple of days and suddenly, all was o.k. again last night.
Not much else going on … I’m doing pretty good. I’ll do the bills and go grocery shopping tomorrow. When I get back home I just might start working on the second quilt. It’ll be exciting to watch it come together.
Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them.
So pretty. I love the colors!

That’s a lovely four patch. Cheery and happy. Have you talked with Carl’s owner? Thanks for your note about the glasses yesterday. Every day as I leave the house, I say out loud, “Glasses” and go change from my computer glasses to my regular ones. LOL

The quilt is beautimous! Nothing makes me want to start another quilt than finishing one–it feels like there’s an empty space where the quilt was… beautiful!
