In Love with the boy

Not sure where to start here. Over the past few weeks I’ve been talking to this guy at work from Turkey. He is such a nice guy, I mean, really nice. Shows interest in things I do and say, good converstions, I’m interested in him, and he isn’t like most straight guys. Most straight guys don’t ask the gay guy to go smoke or spend this much time with me. Could it be because he is interested in me as a person, interested in me physically, or just a plain old real open minded doesn’t care what people think person? He even said we could hang out outside work today. I told him I was jealous because he said everyone is asking him out lately, he said don’t worry we can go out too, I said I wasn’t jealous in that way, I mean, I assume he is straight, just wish people would ask me out and he said “I just did”. We talked about the clubs in providence today and he said he would go with me, I said I go to gay clubs, he said that is fine as long as he doesn’t get attacked, that he likes gay clubs, he’s been to them in turkey. I almost wish all str8 guys were this friendly, but then I’m glad they aren’t, because then I wouldn’t have to wonder all the time, should I get attached, will I get hurt? I often wonder could I even be close friends with a str8 guy because I can get “too attached” and expect more than I should…..maybe I should be as open minded as him?
