clever

clever is sort of an odd thing for me
who is to judge what clever will be
Is it wisdom and candor or other fine words
or the ability bullshit and avoid all the turds

are you smart if your clever, does it stand byself
or is it a sign of poor mental health
clever I think isn’t honest and true
is clever the lad who makes fools out of you

so clever I say I never will be 
and clever is never an endeavor for thee
so leave it a vice for the part of the masses
the people who like to make us all look like asses
