can the sun be oh so bright
even in this light it’s night
can this smile show oh so wide
deep within it’s soul has died
can the moon be oh so full
but in the day where is it’s glow
can I hold you oh so close
and still it’s you I miss most
can the stars shine through the night
why can I not feel their light
can I speak so many words
yet they seem are never heard
can I know it’s oh so true
I am not the one for you
can I finally understand
alone is where I am to stand
