Cblog: this n that

Time to pull the human out from under his rock and chat a bit. Just got back to the computer after slacking off over a very long holiday weekend taken by yours truly. Didn’t do much but the weather was nice so happy me. I have come to the laughable conclusion that my very nice and polite friends here are very unimpressed with my story telling abilities. As I always do I so enjoy receiving notes from everyone but I did notice an interesting trend. The last poem had a surprisingly high # of (very sweet) comments and when I was flipping backwards Gerty (11) had zero. Now let’s use our deductive reasoning here and try to discern what this discrepency in averages might indicate…Ah, that my friends find the story so lame-o that we just skip over it…even so I won’t be deterred because I like weaving stories….and appeciate all of you who are kind enough to not note extended "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz’s" hinting me to get back to the poetry.
I just finished my semi annual employment satisfaction questionaire where we all have the opportunity to assist management in gathering information to help provide a better work environment for us all. I always enjoy the multiple choice questions about management satisfaction. Are you A) satisfied  B) very satisfied C) estatic or D) Willing to work for free just for priviledge of us allowing you in the door each morning.
What’s nice is that they have a comment section after each set of questions. There is a two character limit so one must be fairly brief. They end the whole thing with a general question about what we might suggest to make our employment more satisfying. I recommended some pink floral wall paper for my office and maybe a babbling water fountain for the break room…NOT. What do you think we want ……a freaking raise, better medical benefits…..and retirement plan….sheeesh…but I digress…
Anyway enough of me….I am boring myself…let alone you my friends….struggling with OD and notes but I will get back to you all tomorrow and check in. Thanks for stopping by and love ya all…..be well.. you know the rest…

Are you sure it doesn’t have something to do with short attention spans? Honestly, I refuse to read story entries on here because I do so much reading elsewhere. On OD, I want instant gratification – something that makes me feel something immediately. I prefer to read stories in print.

Hi sweetie …the only reason there is zero on your latest Gerty entry is because I MISSED it! Gotta love Gerty the psycho woman! lmao! 🙂 I’m glad you said something. I been wondering if you was going to write another installment. RYN: Thanks so much hun. Such a nice thing to say. I wanted to write something for Mom as the 2 year anniversary of her passing approaches. Hugs and thank you for reading. ……… ……………………

Option D makes me laugh so hard 🙂 Ryn: thank you babe. And with regards to Gerty, I am finding it [her] too psycho even if I enjoy (by nature) reading dark psycho people 🙂

The soundtrack to Gerty would be ‘Life in the fast lane’ by Eagles Ryn ; lols, this miss-i-want to work with the criminal population enjoys reading darker darker stuff than that. Truth is, Gerty’s psycho traits are still tame and mild compared to the ones I covet (read) on daily basis….

Have you skipped reading a few FO entries I wrote recently, or you just don’t know what to say about them (cos you usually note and say your mind with regards to all my entries, even the most harrowingly boring ones, lols

Ryn: sorry I was studying for my assignment due tomorrow, so my time in OD is getting to be limited for the next couple of months.. Here’s wishing you a great weekend, cos I know you won’t be online on weekends. Anyway, I will try to write another update. But right now it’s past bedtime, and for the last few days since the new module has started, I couldn’t play ice age village, lols. Well I did play, but a bit. Ps : we are NOT that dissimilar…

Push for the floral! Social workers are tragically underpaid; My mom has been supervising group homes my whole life and she works so hard for so little compensation. Would you do me a much needed favor and remind me again that no one else’s opinion matters? You know I’m partial to poetry.

Brother, I take great breaks. I’m sure you understand that I am never in one place all the time. 🙂 You seem to find yourself at my door, and I at yours. What more could we ask of each other for? Oh, this world…and the mistakes that we can learn from. ;P
