week 3 begins

If I have more grief from a surgery that seems to be run for the benefit of its staff and nit the patients I will go quietly mad…

…ok being me maybe not so quietly mad. Firstly trying to get a sick note for the post-recovery option and I got told I cannot do it that day because its too early and I would have to ring back and then wait 2 days for it to be completed. I then was passing and dropped in to see if it was ready – and no I had to make an appointment because the wrong reason had been put down. A reason that I haven’t been off work for something like 10 years was there. Thus I had to make an appointment – but I couldn’t have one that day.

I ended up going today and no-one seemed particularly bothered about the whole thing – but I did get the note…not necessarilly   with good grace but there we go I got it and that is another month off – total 6 weeks when it ends…and then see what happens.

Been to Chester Zoo complete with kids and g-kids…very long day but kinda fun…preparation for holiday to Kenya next year! and yes a couple of days safari will be set in. Wonder if there will be sunburn to rival this years!!
