Presents

This is a video of my two step-children opening their joint gift on Christmas morning. I wrapped this to step down to smaller and smaller boxes to make them work for their presents…they each got an 8GB iPod Touch from Gina and me. As you can tell from the ending to the video, they were very excited. Cody seemed to yell longer than Meagan did though.

Overall, we had a good holiday except for the fact that I fell over the dishwasher on the 23rd and wrenched my back something fierce. All because I thought it would be funny to get Gina back for her smart comment by putting my cold, wet hands on her face and she tried to get me back. I backed up and over the dishwasher door I went. I’m getting better but there are times when it gets a little more than I can stand so I must lay down.

I got a pocket knife from Gina. A Rachael Ray cookbook and Rachael Ray garbage bowl (something that she has pioneered for the kitchen) along with an ink pen with my name and case for my iPhone from my mother. Gina and I received two joint gifts from my mother also of the new John Grisham book of short stories and a 2010 Balloon Fiesta calendar. Overall, not a bad holiday after all.
