Should be walking
I really need to get into the swing of things when it comes to the walking. Unfortunately, its been since Friday that I walked on the treadmill like I said I would. But, Gina and I did go out geocaching on Saturday and got some walking in there with Sunday having me laid up for my back hurting from wrenching it. Yesterday was another recovery day for my back and today I was just plain lazy. Yeah, I need to get on that treadmill and walk.
I finally sent a message to my friends wife asking her to forward a message to him and to please call me at his convenience. I hope he calls and I hope he wants to talk to me. I dont think Id be able to take getting a message back stating that he doesnt want to talk to me. Ive spent 4 or more years looking for this guy online and this is the first hint Ive seen of him. He was like a brother to me back when I was a teenager and Id like to have my friend back.
Beyond that, I am trying to wean myself off of the Ambien that I have been taking for almost 4 months now and not having a lot of luck. Still staying up late and not sleeping well and I seem to be getting only about 4-5 hours of sleep a night and that not very fitful sleep to make me functional the next day. Melatonin doesnt affect me the way it should and I have cut back on my caffeine intake, which is causing headaches now. I just hope I can get past this quickly.

Good luck with your lifestyle changes. I have had a problem with my leg for about two years, i feel so out of shape, if i walk i hurt my back because i don’t walk correctly because of my leg. I keep nagging my husband to get a treadmill. I also have insomnia, my staying awake is so bad at the moment that it’s 7am when i go to bed, at this rate it will go full circle and correct itself.

Have you tried honey? Honey is a natural sedative. Some say take a tablespoon of honey with a warm glass of milk, i drink it with cold milk, it helps relax me and its all natural.

Melatonin has never done much for me, but Valerian Root – now that stuff knocks me OUT! And maybe walking in the evenings would help you sleep?

Benadryl will knock me out. But a hot bath does it also and it’s cheaper.
