DePhoMo – Twist and..how’d it do that?
I saw this tree in California, on my way to San Diego, sometime last year and thought it was an interesting picture. I’ve never seen a tree twist around like this and still don’t know why it did this at all…unless it was following the sun or the path of its growth as determined by its DNA. To this day, I still don’t know what kind of tree this is.
I was able to make it through the house again this weekend. Lucky in the fact that I can, but unlucky in the fact that my miles are dropping faster than the Hindenburg at the end of its flight. But, it is sonewhat expectant this time of the year for this to happen, but again, one doesn’t think that a refrigerated trailer (refer) company would lose that much freight around this time of the year.
But, I digress.
Blessings!
This is a eucalyptus. It’s an import from Australia, considered a great big weed in much of California. It naturally twists that way.

It’s a gorgeous tree. I love the things you notice and take pictures of that many people just disregard.

That is a great shot!

I had someone tell me that they’re California Bay trees (as in bay leaves).

I like the coloration of the tree also.
