Personal Traits Challenge – Day 2

Here we go again. If I can think of ten, I’ll post all ten but you’ll just have to get what I come up with. The rules are as stated:

Write ten positive things about yourself, every day, for seven days, and post them in a Public Entry.
There are rules, of course. You want to think positively about yourself, so the statements all have to be positive in voice. This means no words like “no”, “not”, or any contraction ending in “n’t”. So, if one thing you want to talk about is your driving habits, then instead of saying “I didn’t speed today” you should say “I drove at or below the speed limit all day”.
It can be an overall personal trait that you admire about yourself, or a small personal triumph, such as the driving example above, but it needs to be about you, and it needs to be positive. It can be in the past, but it should be in the present as much as possible. And it has to be on public! NO hiding behind favorites-only entries. You can censor names of people and places for privacy’s sake, but you deserve to crow about yourself on your diary, and you deserve to have people read about it.
So, there’s the challenge. I encourage you, at the end of the week, to tag favorites with the assignment /as well. It’s not bragging when someone asks you to do it!

1. I can sing decently but don’t have the guts to do so on a stage like on karaoke night.
2. When I received a negative sounding note on yesterday’s entry, I remained cool and just deleted the note and blocked the user.
3. I have hauled and do haul freight that each and every one of you have used, use, and will use again. Want to bet on this one? It’s not what you are thinking of!

Hmm, three is all you get today.

My job change is not going to happen without some apprehension on my part. Considering the changeover is being moved up by almost a month, I am very nervous about it. But, I still think it’ll be for the best.

And here’s one reason why I think so. I took this while sitting at the truck stop typing this entry out and thought it was extremely appropriate.

There’s only one word he’s missing in that…”Will.” As in, “Will Work for Fuel.” It’s pitiful and getting worse for us out here.
