Sleep was had

Sunday afternoon finds me not on my way to Dallas like I wanted, but on my way to Denver for two Tuesday deliveries and Salt Lake City to finish up on Wednesday.

Thursday night, I ended up getting about 7 hours sleep and made my delivery the next morning without any major issues. However, Friday was spent sitting in the ThermoKing in Evansville watching the guy go through everything they could think of to fix my APU. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get it completely fixed but they did work it to where the generator will come on all the time instead of only having the A/C on. Now, I’m in Salina, KS until tomorrow because this was the place I was going to be on Monday and they have the part to get me fixed up 100%.

I slept like the dead on Friday night and again last night so I’m all caught up on the sleep I didn’t get on Thursday. I’ll also be able to sleep well tonight so I might be able to bank a little extra to use later on in the week. If only it was so.

Jason and I talk on an almost daily basis and he’s really looking forward to seeing me but seems to be understanding concerning the fact that I’m not already there. He seems to be looking forward to spending some time on the road with me over the summer and even asked if he was going to “drive me insane.” I told him that he can’t drive me to where I already am. LOL

The Cardinals, after dropping to third in their division have come back in the last three game series against the Astros and are now second to the Cubs. And they are only a half game behind right now. Go Cards!!

I’m off to get some dinner out of the refrigerator and play my game some.
