I’m Tired

Due to the fact that I was wrong (see ladies? a man can admit he’s wrong) about my interpretation of how my ex-wife was going to be, I have since opened my diary back up to all viewers. That’s right, no need to be on my Favorites List to read what’s going on in my life. You do, however, have to have a diary on OD…which is redundant to say because you aren’t reading this if you don’t have a diary on OD.

For those that have been keeping up with what’s going on and offered advice or encouragement, it has not gone without notice. Again, I am not the big noter that some are and have never been the type to just leave a name note…although I have in the past. For all of you, here is a resounding THANK YOU from me to you.

There’s nothing really new when it comes to my boys. Jon and Jeff are still not talking to their mother and live with their step-father and Jason is opening up more and more to me about what’s going on in his life. He even got me to sign up for this MySpace knockoff called Tagged. So, now I’m on MySpace, Tagged, and FaceBook. Sheesh!

However, I am having major issues with my company and them getting me to the Dallas area so I can see my son(s). In the last year since I’ve been back on the road, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in the Dallas area…picking up and delivering on a consistent basis. Now, all of a sudden, when I need to get there, there’s nothing. It’s annoying as hell!

Today’s most assuredly been a day that I’d like to forget. Up at 4:30 this morning, unloaded in Belleville, IL at 5 p.m. and getting loaded in St. Peters, MO at 7:15 tonight. I still have miles to go before my day is done too. I know, I know, I am not supposed to be driving like this but, when I say I’ll take the load, that means I’ll take it. It means too much to my professional career for me to turn around and change my mind like that. Plus, I need the money!

Till Next Time,
Blessings!

Ouch!! Keep on driving. Hey…. A trucker might know this- is there a way to find out what good radio stations are in an area when somebody is traveling cross country on vacation?

I wish you an abundance of caffeine and clear roads, if you can’t get a good schedule. 🙂

Hopefully they’ll send you to Dallas soon, my friend. Be safe, and get some rest ok?
