Light at the End of the Tunnel
Well, it is not official yet, but it looks like I convinced the powers that be that I deserve NOT to be terminated but severed instead. BIG difference. This means I will get a severance package. I am meeting with my manager next Friday to get the ‘deal’. I am already working on a letter to negitiate it higher if need be.
I WILL not go down without fighting!

Oh that’s better news but still not ideal. Hope it’s as smooth a process as possible and you don’t have to do any negotiating – we’ll be rooting for you!

Good luck with boosting up the severance package. 62 is a good time to retire and enjoy the golden years anyway. I’ve been doing that since 1980. Willy
