How has it already been nearly 3 weeks since I last wrote?

Well I had my first roller derby bout on the 11th.
I was stressing over nothing and it all went fine.
I didn’t get to skate all that much, but I’m one of the newest and inexperienced skaters on the team so that was to be expected.
My team lost, but I think we were all kind of expecting it, the team we were playing against are the stronger side.
There were only 20 points in it in the end, which is really close in roller derby land.

The weather has been really lovely lately.
England gets about 2 or 3 weeks of proper summer every year and it seems to all be happening in March this year!
We went to Weston-Super-Mare on the train yesterday.
We sat on the beach and ate some chips and watched all the dogs.
We walked along the pier and enjoyed the sun and the sea and the birds.
Then we went to the arcade and spent about £15 on games. I’m not sure we meant to spend that much but we got a little carried away.
We must have poured about £5 into one of those crane grabby machines where Ben was desperately trying to win me a care bear! ha.
After all the fun and games we went and sat in the sun on the pier and had a beer and a chat.
We had some fresh doughnuts, which were fucking delicious! And we walked along the beach to go and say hello to the donkeys (I just had to google the plural of donkey hahaha). By this time it was 5pm and the man who owned the donkeys was just packing up and all the donkeys got put in the truck, so I didn’t get to pet them or take any photos 🙁
Then we had some ice cream and caught the train home.
At home we ordered pizza and watched 3 episodes of Breaking Bad.
What a wonderful day!
Pictures!…

Whack-a-mole! My favourite 😀

Some of the arcade games gave you tickets. We collected a total of 11, mostly from whack-a-mole, the only prize available for 10 tickets was a lollipop. So there you have it.. after spending a massive £15 on arcade games, we won the most expensive lolly in history.

On the train home.

Other than that, I’m not sure there’s much to report.

I’m going to Hastings on the weekend to celebrate Niks’s birthday. I haven’t been shopping for most of the winter so today I decided to go have a look if I could find something new to wear on Friday night.
I went out with a budget of £20.
I found a green top and a pink top I really liked, and I couldn’t decide which one I wanted.
I realised they were both £9.99, so I decided I didn’t need to pick after all and just bought them both.
yay new things.

Went to tesco for cat food afterwards and ended up buying us pasta shaped like animals for supper.
Animal shaped food makes me happy.

My contract at work started a few days ago, back to being a supervisor for the summer.
It was super stressful last year, but so far so good. It’s only March though.

The house I’ve been obsessing over is still available.
Please stay on the market for just a few more weeks. Please?
