I watched the last part of the frozen planet series a few nights ago.
It was so sad.
Everything died!
Dead baby penguins, dean bison, dead voles, dead trees, dead starfish, nearly dead wolves 🙁

I got that magnet off that knife! I’m so clever. All it took was an overnight soak.

Work have told us that we all have to take another week of unpaid leave this winter.
That’s up to 3 weeks now.
I lose £200 from my basic salary every time I take a block of unpaid leave.
It’s seriously disheartening when I’m trying to save for travelling.
But there’s no point in whining about it, everyone is in the same boat.
Fucking winter schedule.

On the bright side, I do get lots of time off work to relax.
10 days off to go to Canada next week.
10 days off at the end of January over my birthday.
And now 10 days off mid-march.

Today has been a fun day.
Ben and I walked into town this morning because he wanted to do some christmas shopping.
We got there and realised it was a saturday everything was busy.
"I’m going to start hitting people soon"
Neither of us deal with large crowds very well when trying to shop.
Also there’s nothing more frustarting than when the person walking in front of you just stops (to check their phone, find something in their bag, talk to their friend, whatever) right in front of you so they’re completely in your way and there are so many people either side of you you’re just stuck!
Roller derby has made me want to make full body contact with complete strangers when I’m stuck in a full superdrug.
I feel doing that may get me arrested.

We got a hotdog from the german market and walked home.

Funny story: I was umming and ahhing about getting a hotdog for about 15 minutes. Eventually I gave in and bought one.
Sitting on a bench eating it I said to ben "I had to succumb to the sausage"
And he replied "yeah, that’s what you had to do when you met me"
hahaha.
Only funny because it was so true. I had been dating girls for so long that it took me a really long time to accept that Ben was indeed a boy and had a willy before I fell in love with him

At about 2pm I caught the train to Cardiff.
It’s been an expensive day:
£10 for the train to Cardiff.
£5 for the taxi from the station to the bout venue.
£9 for entry into the bout
£4 on food at the bout
Dub and Justin were nice enough to give me a lift back to Bristol.

The bout was amazing. The score was so close.
11 minutes from the end both teams had 98 points.
CROC ended up winning by just 10 points. Final score was 124 – 134.
Bristol didn’t go down without a fight though! So proud of them.

Ben’s at the pub now and I can’t be bothered to go out to join him. I only got home half an hour ago and it’s already 9:30 and I’m feeling pretty tired. Plus I’m standby for work from 4am tomorrow morning. I should really go to bed soon so I’ve had a decent amount of sleep if I get called in.

“Ben was indeed a boy and had a willy before I fell in love with him” – lol. Beautifully written amusement.
