NoJoMo 17

I’ve spent the whole day at work so I don’t really have anything to report.
One word for my day: Turbulent. 
So bumpy all day. urgh.
Other than that, it was all pretty standard.

Last night I was charging my electric razor. I unplugged it and started walking to the bathroom to attend to my, um, lady-garden, and Ben suggested we shaved patches of Elroy, lol, I laughed so much. He’s such a grumpy cat as it is, could you imagine how grumpy he’d be if I shaved the top of his head hahaha.

I had wonderfully passionate sex last night.
And beautiful cuddles afterwards.

Got home from work tonight and Ben had made me spag bol. 
Dinner waiting for me when I get home from work almost never happens.

He’s gone to Rich’s now to play playstation and do boy things, which means I’m home alone all night and will most definitely be going to bed alone too. 

Today’s questions:

1. Were you named after anyone? Do you know the meaning of your name? How does it or does it not suit you? 

I don’t think my real name suits me. Only my parents and the people I work with call me by my real name. I wasn’t named after anyone, but my parents made up the spelling from my aunt’s name- my dad’s sister who died before I was born.

Everyone else I know calls me Edi (pronounced Eddie)
When I was about 17 one of my friends from school told me I was so cute she could just eat me up, and started calling me Edible. 
Edible got shortened to Edi and ta-da.. 10 years later it’s still with me.
 

3. What is the sweetest thing someone has ever done for you?

Ben bought me a digital SLR camera, even though he was a student and couldn’t afford it at the time.
Everything I learnt at college was film. After I finished college I gave up photography altogether because I didn’t have a darkroom to use any more. I got really sick after that. 
I went to see an alternative healer and she told me I was having so many problems with my body because I didn’t have a creative outlet. Ben doesn’t believe in all the crazy hocus pocus I do, but he went out and bought me a digital SLR camera anyway. I’ve was definitely the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received.
