35 – Buy a new dance mat.

I’ve had a playstation 2 for years now, and had various dance mats and a few different dance games with it. I used to use the dance mat as exercise (there’s a workout mode where it counts how many calories you’ve burnt, etc.), and I recently bought a new game as I was going to start doing that again. However, when I got out my old dance mat, I found it looked like this:

The top surface is all ripped and it generally doesn’t work any more, so I decided I needed a new one. This proved to be a bit of a challenge as I initially went to Argos, where all my other dance mats have come from, only to find that they hardly sell anything for the PS2 any more, let alone something as specific as a dance mat. Luckily good old amazon was able to help me, and a few days later this arrived:

I’m quite pleased with it; it works perfectly, although it is quite bulky. Now that it’s arrived, I’m going to try and make an effort to use it regularly.
