One Day Less
After re-reading some of this, I realise I hadn’t updated in a while (my character study of Valjean notwithstanding) and that my last entry was about the Stroke OPC.
Well – the doctor there thinks the problem with my right hand is not down to the stroke, but to a problem with my ulna nerve. Which on the one hand is good news, but on the other means it might not get any better.
Still – I have mostly typed this correctly, with very few mistakes (most in this sentence, oddly), and while it still feels a little odd, I am better at holding and gripping things with my right hand.
My writing it still a little all over the place – my signature has changed quite a lot (which in no way will cause me issues in the future) and if I concentrate too much, my writing is almost unreadable.
But, on the whole, given how things could have turned out, I’d say it was better than it might have been. In addition, I apparently have a physio appointment next month, so we’ll see how that goes!
Back to work (more or less) tomorrow, although it will be working from home, and there are a shed load of issues with that (mostly to do with password and VPN access).
