Doing Okay

Hey.  I’m doing okay.  Busy in this new position as dean.  I’m really good at some parts and not so good in other parts.  The job has its ups and downs.  Great support and feedback from the faculty.  They are supported and I work hard to keep them in the know.  I have great faculty to work with.

Not nearly as much time to spend with my grandgirl Kaity and not much time to quilt.  Weekends have become days to catch up on the chores we couldn’t do during the week.  I do miss the less hours and long vacations.  But I am pretty darn good at this job…

I still don’t have to decide if I want to apply for it as a perminent postion.  And if I do apply and don’t get it, I have a great job as instructor and department chair to go back and complete.  So what a great place for me to be.  And I can do this job as I want to do it because why would I have to do the job as someone else wants me to do it?
