In search of lips…
I rarely have pictures taken of myself because I am the paparazzi. I am the one who follows everyone around with the camera for historical purposes. Even my grandgirl, Kaity, has at times asked me to put away the camera…which tells you something for sure. Well we recently bought a new camera because my old one was no longer doing a good job. It was a great one…but after so many years of constant use, it gave up the ghost. My daughter-in-law borrowed the camera and started playing with it. My picture was taken.
Oh My Gawd. Aging is not for the weak hearted. Yeah, I have wrinkles now….okay I knew that because I put on my make up every morning and it is impossible to do it in the dark. I’ve tried 😉 And I recently decided to let my hair have its way with the grey and was not happy with the paleness of my face. I finally figured out why often little old ladies have these bright red round cheeks….they want some color in their faces! None of this bothered me that much…it was livable. It was something else. It was something tragic…
I have no top lip. I don’t know where it went because I used to have one.
Here, you can see I had two lips at age three…
And you can see that I had two lips at age 16…
I even had two lips at age 45…no one had to search for them; I just had two lips, top and bottom…
And I had two lips when I got married….
But now I have no top lip…it just disappeared. I am starting to freak out! I mean where did it go?
Now, I don’t like the look of cologen injections. It just looks painful and poochy. Who’d want to kiss those? I mean, my lips you can at least find a bottom lip…and I can feel smooches…
Sooooooooooooooooooo…I just went into my office and played with the little camera the computer has on the front and now I have great lips….what you think?!
I’m thinking drivers license….
peace~~~
🙂 I like the last one LOL

OMG, I so identify with the lost lips. Just two days ago Savanah, who once compared me to a big lipped fish, said, “Grandma you have small lips.” Ack! I waiver all the time between wanting to grow old gracefully and wanting a face lift and lip plumping job. You are not alone, my friend.

On that bottom picture I see that you have two perfectly shaped lips! Yes I can see them. 🙂 And I bet Miss Kaity loves how you smooch with them too.
