Early Morning Dasher
The sun yesterday morning looked so pretty coming through the woods that I decided to take Dasher and get some pics without his collar. I always have his squeaky tennis ball with me and he poses so well for it. I use it as a reward after a good pose. And he’s cute because he trots to the door with the ball in his mouth so he can get inside and play fetch. We don’t have a fenced in yard so we play inside. I love the way the sun shows off his beautiful eyes. He’s such a sweetheart. He’s brought me much needed joy to my sad heart.

Dasher is beyond adorable! The sun just lights up his happy, sweet face. I wish I could take such beautiful photos of my dog, but they just never turn out well. RYN: Thank you, feel free to steal that picture, it is kinda funny (and true LOL)

You just bring out the best in dogs, I think. Dasher has the sweetest face. I wish I could just grab him on each side of his head and KISS KISS KISS his cheeks!!! He looks so darned cute!!! Any dog that has you for a mama is so LUCKY!!!

Thanks so much for your SWEET notes on my OD. I so appreciate your compassion & understanding how I’m feeling. It’s going to be so traumatic for me when my horses actually are trailered off. I am so weak & feeble that I don’t go out to the field. It needs mowing bad & I’m working on trying to get that done. My horses are so pitiful out there. They’re fine, but I just miss them so much. I used tospend more time with them & take much better care of them. But I so appreicate your sentiments.

hi… i don’t know if you remember me or not. you were one of my first noters on od, and we read each other for quite a while… i have no recollection as to why we stopped talking… anyway, i was going through old entries from 2000 and tagging them and i started wondering about you, how you were, and how duke was doing, and i found you here! i am so, so sorry to hear of duke’s passing. it’squite shocking, actually… i shed a few tears, my heart aches for you! glad you have a new furry angel to keep you company. dasher is gorgeous! just wanted to say hi… hope you and dasher are doing well… take care!

ryn: it’s so good to hear from you! i’m glad you got back to me, i was a little worried about you since you haven’t updated in here since last year! i went back and read some older entries… you’ve been through so much, you’re such a strong person! are you still doing pet photography? your pictures are incredible, you definitely have an eye for a good shot! dasher is totally photogenic too,you can tell he loves posing… so glad you found such a sweet boy! yes, i have also lost a pet – i lost chianna earlier this year. unfortunately i wasn’t with her, since she stayed with my ex when i moved up to illinois, but it tore me up inside… he took good care of her, though. and i still have etcetera and miscellaneous, and i feel so blessed every day to have them in my life! i hope you don’t mind if i add you to my faves/bookmarks… i’m not going to lose you this time!
