and there’s the secret line
song: rise – artist: the frames
I had planned on actually getting the CoA entry done tonight/Sunday (it’s after midnight now, so this is going to post as "Monday"). But… there were scads of photos to assess and figure out what/how to use. Also, there was the reformatting of PhilHartman (I totally named my laptop) this weekend, so updates had to be installed and files had to be restored.
Anyway, my point is, between now and when I can write tomorrow (or, well, later today), you get this adorable tidbit from my Freaking Cute Grandmother (some of you may recall her from previous entries – and some of you will get introduced to her for the first time here).
She is my mom’s mom. My mom got her a Roomba for Mother’s Day. It was sent early because she winters in Mesquite, Nevada (she lives in Casper, Wyoming the rest of the time), and will be heading home not long from now. My mom wanted her to have enough time (and be at the same address, for the sake of customer service) to use it to make sure it didn’t have any issues. In any case, this is the email update within a day or so of her getting her Roomba (Joe is her husband).
This vacuum is just the neatest little thing. Joe said while I was not in the room today, it must have needed a charge and went and got on the charging thing. You do have to empty them frequently. But that could be the bedroom carpets. The little thing is fearless, just crawled under the bed and went to work. Of course under the bed had only been vacuumed before the bed was put up, and new carpet is always "hairy". I love it. If you push the clean button while it is on the charger, it makes a few chimes, I guess to let you know to get out of the way. You could not have gotten me anything that would have given me more pleasure.
I did win $50 at the bingo today. This weekend is Vegas NASCAR and the regional long drive playoffs so the casino will be busy. I might just stay home and play with the vacuum. lol
Totally adorable, right?
I now feel cheated. My grandmothers are not nearly half that awesome. Hurrah for you and your good luck / genes, though.

Totes adorbs. 🙂 (Yes, I totally just said that) I’ve always coveted a roomba. But it’s just never been a priority in my list of things to get.

I like the Frames. I have no grandparents and am not a fan of old people in general, so can’t really comment on the entry other than that I’m afraid…

ADORABLE & then some. I love, love, love seeing the older generations getting their digital age on.
