Thursday, Friday and Saturday (27th-29th) this last week were, in a word, GORGEOUS! Thursday got the party started with warmer temperatures and Friday was all, "Check it! YOU KNOW YOU WANT THIS!" Or something. I’m still a little giddy about the taste of spring time in January. Look at the forecast Friday (mid)morning. LOOK IT!

I had errands to run on Friday. I was totally okay with this as it meant I got to gallivant out and about with the sunshine and the warm. Then Friday did the sweetest thing, it didn’t stop at 65. It kept going.

It actually got up into the low 70s with its delightful self, I just didn’t manage to grab a screen capture while that lovely magic was happening. And I ran around town in a dress and bare legs and open toed shoes and sunglasses and consumed copious amounts of caffeine – all the ingredients to guarantee a love of life and living!

And, really, the best, most awesome part of the week was getting to spend a few days bare-legged and in open-toed shoes, soakin’ up some sunshine in JANUARY! It is an awesome that is not easily topped, my friends.
