I’m not so sure it induces shame as much as it’s something I don’t (and shouldn’t) feel inclined to brag about. not that I tend to feel inclined to brag about anything. but I’m really digressing…

trying to take photos while driving. at night. I have my reasons. which will likely make it into an entry with accompanying photos in the near future.

anyway, guess who accidentally left the flash on at one point last night? while behind another vehicle…

black zippered hoodie over a pale pink camisole and black capris with a pink stripe on both sides. I am not currently wearing the flip flops that match (ref: bike photos). I’ve got sparkly black ones on instead.

current wish list

a darker tan (a [very] windy 41 degrees does not really foster the desire to expose more skin than the aforementioned ensemble allows. and the reasoning for the above/current ensemble in such conditions was that I braved similar, though colder [38 degrees], last night in less clothing [skirt, thin sweater, strappy sandals] and, you know, no sun, without much issue, though for a shorter duration. but still… this should’ve been nothing. you know you are amazed by my logic.)

to pet a duck

that the blurry red smiley face on the back of my hand would go away. but I guess if you’re going to have ink on your hand looking like a rash from a distance, it’s best that it looks happy, right?

a straight week full of warm (enough) sunshine (or that was the case the last time I’d checked the weather forecast, at least)! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM!!!

dude. you’d think I’ve been living underground for months now or something. I wasn’t even in New York for the whole winter, and it was a fairly mild one, all things considered. but it’s like I’ve been going through sunshine withdrawals and they’re making me cranky.

I’ve conquered a childhood feat, discovered that arnica, semi-consistently applied, actually does have a great effect on diminishing bruises – because there are better reasons to be called "peach," been having scads of those "figuring life out" talks with my mom/bff, learning to live in the sweet spot more consistently.

so, basically, life is good!

current bane of my existence

it’s not so much a bane, but something I’ve noticed that I’m now contemplating with no real end game in mind yet.

having just been sucked into Tweeting (so I don’t know if it’s just a phase yet or not), I’ve come to realize a.) I have profiles ALL OVER THE FREAKING INTERNET! b.) there is little consistency in the usernames in a broad, overall sense, though it does come together in bits and phases – the last 5 or so years have seen me bouncing between two, for the most part – and, c.) I’m wondering if I should consolidate/rename where possible, or just come to accept it as it is.

uh… sugar-free red bull. heh. 🙂

seriously, I’ve gone through a lot recently.

also, time and space to figure it out.

and late night (or very early morning) showers, right before bed. it’s the next best thing to fresh-out-of-the-dryer sheets.
