Hi. I quit hanging out here for a bit because my eyes just couldn’t take the weird thing that the ad was doing. Almost gave me a migraine to look at it.

Nelson passed his stones in less than a week and only missed a couple half days.

I’m still trying to eat well and I’ve been out back playing soccer with Asher every night. If I wasn’t so sore I might feel good. 🙂

All my free time I’ve been pulling things together for the Writer’s Conference next week. I was hoping to spend Saturday night with a friend in Scott Depot WV, but I can’t reach her. So I may just drive all the way to Asheville on Sunday. That means I’ll have to leave in the wee hours of the morning to get there in time.

I’m excited and nervous. I know there will be lots of newbies, but I’m still afraid of how ill-prepared I’ll be for this. I hope to make some good connections…we’ll see.

Oh, and Nelson took the car in to make sure it’s road ready and there were some things going on we didn’t know about and it’s going to cost over $1K to fix most…not even all of it. Sigh.
