This day about the other day.

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was great or at least with no huge surprises. I lost weight. I know! Crazy huh?  I’m not a big complainer and I love my Sweetieman and his family but … okay never mind. Suffice it to say that it was a long day starting at work up at 5am, a two and a half hour drive to in-laws, big early dinner, long drive back to home with mom, phone calls etc., too tired to make anything to eat after not eating very much for the big meal and finally to sleep around midnight….weight loss was the result…I can’t resit  – dry turkey, mushy cranberry sauce, dead smothered veggies and an overly sugared sweet potato and marshmallow dish (with way more of the later than the former). Okay, damn it I said it. I complained!! I feel better. This means I have a whole ‘nother year to gain weight in order to lose it on Thanksgiving….perhaps not a bad result you might be thinking….hmmphh.

I have this new app for my phone camera and love the results. This is in our studio as we were taping one of the local anchor people for NBC….that part doesn’t matter, its the texture…you can’t tell who she

is anyway, so who cares?Just a cool technique…:

Then there’s Spin, my slam-dancing-barking-crazy-girl.Yes, she used to slam dance. As you walked by she’d take a running leap at your calves and rap her little legs round yours…It was only for a second and then she’d tear off in another direction. It was a covert operation. Stealth at it’s finest, the attack executed in utter silence and precision, with no tell-tale trace of the crime or her existence, except for tiny puncture wounds on her victims – they never knew what hit them.

Barking? yes that too. Raised by our Newfoundland (sadly, now deceased) She learned the way of the dog. Sitting by the big picture window, she’d let out her most menacing and threatening growl at the sparrows and then wallop them with her ferocious little kitty bark. And here she sits, looking so innocent:

I think I might have already posted this picture but oh well….here it is again.

Cool effects on the picture. Love the kitty picture. That meal sounds awful-no wonder you didn’t eat much!

I stammer at the apps now available. I still dial and text, with difficulty. I like this entry, something very earthy about it. 🙂

Love what you can do with pictures! The meal sure doesn’t sound very appetizing, I admit.

Ok, so what is the app? Also, I had a cat that would do the same thing. Only hid behind doors and waited for the passing, Unexpected victim. He also would stand on the kitchen counter and wait for the dog to come by and then jump onto her back and ride her like a jockey! Take care,

Thanks for the app info. Hope all is well with you.

Fabulous app! I love the way it looks like a colored pencil drawing. I am not a fan of the too-sweet sweet potatoe thingie with marshmallows. I wonder where that tradition started? We always had baked sweet potatoes with none of that sugary stuff. Cheers!

OMG…there is a FUNNY video the kids and I saw of a cat barking like a dog at her morning birdies…maybe she was yours?! Did you draw those lovely artworks? I see you have a job again…yay…and you and your makeup are stunning!
