I have to tell you that when I saw the previous title, I thought Upsa and the stork whatshisname tied the knot. I was happy to read it was someone else. Anyway RYN: One key to reading FICTION is to recognize it for that and to dismiss the covert and often overt politics therein. He’s also a warmonger, but when you come down to it, he tells a great story. In the current book I’m reading, he covertly praises Reagan for boosting the economy, but in reality, the economy was purposely depressed by big business to oust Jimmy Carter from the White Houes. Any republicen could have beat him back then. My fear is that the same tactics are being employed today. So when I see a line like, “the stock market has been very good for me under the new administration” I laugh, because I see it for what it is. Be well, my friend.
Aww. I took my pet rock rather seriously, but not with the love these two share 🙂 I may need to check out Greywolf. Her note is spot on from my view of the world, like that she speaks out.
