I have no details yet. Instead of being informed personally, as was supposed to be the case, I just learned through Facebook that Patty (Peppermint P) passed away yesterday morning. My heart is broken, as she has been a close, close friend for many, many years now. We used to talk on the phone multiple times per week, and did that for a long, long time. Lately, with what we have both been going through (physically and emotionally) it hasn’t been as often. But she was still one with whom I spoke the most.

I haven’t been able to write in her diary yet… something’s screwed up and I can’t do anything other than put in a title. I’ll try to get that fixed so I can put an update there.

A true friend is gone, one who cared for me more than most. I am still too much in shock to be in pain yet.

Oh no! Say it isn’t so. Patty always left the nicest notes for others and was a very giving person. We spoke on the phone once and for a while we were leaving each other notes. I’m so sorry to hear of this and I’m very sorry for your loss Curtis. Love your long time friend,
