My grad life.

My PI actually complimented something I did. I just thought I’d write this down for future reference when I feel like she hates me or thinks I’m an idiot. Oh, and it was on my first hour long seminar ever. So win for me. And, here is what my life is like:

Hey thanks for that interesting tidbit. Do you know if the increase in mitochondria from training is permanent? So that for the rest of your life even if you aren’t in athletic training mode, you are still capable of burning fat faster than if you hadn’t had that period of heavy training? And secondly, can the increase in mitochondria make enough of a difference that a professional athlete could feasibly metabolise a significant amount MORE than the average 2-3 pounds of fat per week? Like 4 or 5 or more?
