Still no word about my travel grants. I sent a somewhat pitiful email asking for an update on wtf is going on to the sort of rude lady at the graduate school office. She appears to be ignoring me again. She can expect a visit from me today or tomorrow if she refuses to answer my emails. I personally think it’s really annoying when people stop by my office unannounced, so I hope I annoy her into you know, doing her job. Or getting the person who’s supposed to be taking care of this to do their job. I really have no idea who I’m supposed to be pissed at, but right now it’s that woman.

For the first time in the 6 or so months I’ve been working here they vacuumed the floors. It’s miraculous. When I realized how long I’ve been here and that this is the first time it’s happened, I got really grossed out. At least they’re clean now.

So whooooo wants to edit my manuscript? I sure don’t.
