Gluten Free
So it’s ground zeros birthday. Yeah 911 happened, but I am not going to sit here and mourn all day or feel sad. Instead I am going to talk about my diet.
Buuuuut before I do that, I am going to talk about what I did today! I went to a Landmark Forum introduction workshop that my friend Anisha invited me to that went from 9:30 am to 1:00pm. I went to the bank to deposit money for my necklace that I got, came home and cleaned the entire kitchen (washed the dishes, wiped the counters, cleaned the stove, swept and mopped the floor) and then went over the carpet three times with the Rug Doctor machine my classmate let me borrow. Then I headed out to the grocery store to get more gluten free crackers, bread, and cookies and headed to the pet store to get Rufus some mice to eat. Came home, cooked dinner ( a bunless burger with the works, mashed pertaters and steamed veggers) and got out my sides to start going over for tomorrows audition. *phew!* Okay so any whooizzle…..
In order to figure out what I am puttin in my body that is causing me to have all these problems with my skin, hair, and stress levels I am eliminating things from my diet for certain amounts of time just to see how I feel.
Right now I am on week three of being gluten free. It’s really hard,
because I can’t have wheat thins, or cheezits, or pizza hut, but I am managing. Everything tastes normal.
The next thing I will be doing is going off of dairy for four weeks and THAT is going to be really really hard. I also want to take a food allergy test. All I know is that after doing the master cleanse for a week, I saw a huge difference in my skin, my hair, my eyes, and the way I felt so there’s something that I am putting in my body that I am not reacting well to and GOSH DARN IT ILL FIND OUT WHAT IT IS IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!
Honestly though, I am considering staying gluten free after my four weeks are done, but not completely. I’ll order pizza hut every once in a long while, and I will probably cheat with cheezits, but all sandwich breads, bagels, waffles, and cereal will be gluten free from now on, and anything I bake.
Why you ask? I figure it’s a much healthier lifestyle so why not?
That and there’s a guy that looks like the hotter version of Shia Labeouf that works at the health food grocery store….
Hehehe.

Ugh, gluten free is not for me! No dairy eh, it is a pain. I tried that only once. I hated it!The problem with food allergy tests though is that sometimes allergies don’t show up. For example, your mum had your brother and I get tested. She was SO SURE that your brother and I would be allergic to wheat. We took the test. Your brother is allergic to all citrus and green beans. Me? Just green beans!

Your mum took the test too. No wheat allergies showed up. The doctor explained to her that (the naturopath) sometimes with very very mild allergies they will not show up at all on the test. It takes a strong reaction to have a specified allergy on the test. Your brother still eats citrus. I eat green beans. I have noticed though that if I eat a ton of them my throat gets a little itchy, but that’s

about it. So, I think that by eliminating foods and seeing how your body reacts might be your best bet! Good luck! Hehehe I cleaned my kitchen too today.

What if it turns out that the hot guy at the store is what’s giving you so many problems??? What if Shecky the accountant with the really thick glasses and dorky laugh is really healthy for your body? Take care. P.S. Shecky said he wants to take you to the Dungeons and Dragons meeting this weekened.

i’m not sure if i could do gluten free! maybe i could try it, just not while in school… too hard when they cook for me! dairy free would be hard too, i like cheese too much. i know it doesn’t like me, but i like it haha.

I’m already basically dairy free. I it makes me feel rather ill when I eat it so the only time I have milk products is when I have a small amount of icecream, or custard. The rest of the time I have soy or just nothing. I don’t even eat cereal because I don’t LIKE milk. The only thing you’ll really miss is cheese I think. There’s not much that can replace it.
