weekend with the sis!

Saturday I went to go see my sister! YAY! and oh my gosh…her husband Kimo and his friend Shane made this really good pork with some sort of sauce and tons of sushi! I couldn’t believe it! YUM it was soooo good! My sister said that the night before that he made her teriyaki chicken! She’s so lucky to have a husband who cooks for her and cooks soooo good too! I ate so much of it haha.

OH and guess what!? MY SISTER IS GOING TO MAKE ME A DRESS! That’s like my dream present! Something made for me to wear by my sister! Ah! It was so hard not to start crying right there. eh im tearing up right now lol. Seriously though she is so talented and I am so in awe of her creativity! It’s always so special to recieve something from her that she made! Handmade gifts are the best 🙂

But yeah I was not expecting this! AWE MY SISTER LOVES ME! 😀 Some lady brought in this vintage dress to her store and they couldnt sell it so my sister got to bring it home! She said the material made her think of me and just like that she decided she would make me a dress! It’s going to feel so good to be able to say that my sister made it whenever I get a compliment!

The pattern is a dark purple with a floral print and it has quarter length sleeves and a boat neck front! I AM SO EXCITED! I wish I could make something for my sister in return. I don’t have the money to buy her something really nice, and even if i could buy her something, it would not equal what she is doing for me! I will have to think!

Another thing she did for me was teach me how to do eye makeup! I never wear eyeshadow because I’ve never been good at applying it. I am not the greatest at applying makeup actually. I just do the basic. Foundation, a little blush, mascara, and sometimes some eyeliner. That’s it!

My sister though, she could be a makeup artist! She’s so good! I wanted to go take pictures on these cool rocks we drove by out in the desert and then she had this whole idea of how she wanted me to look. So she dressed me up, did my hair, and my makeup! I didn’t even recognize myself when I looked in the mirror! I WAS SO BEAUTIFUL! It was like "WHAT!? That’s not me!?" 

Yup my sister can sew, make jewelry, paint, draw, do makeup, fashion, hair, and take wonderful photos!

I think now I am going to start trying to wear my hair like that and expiriment more with hair accessories! My sister even got me the eyeshadows she used on me so that I can do the look myself! She really is the best 🙂

I got to go see where she works too and it’s the cutest little boutique! I can see she why she loves it!
