she’s got it!

My mom kept refusing to play mario kart with me on the wii and then I finally got her to do it! It was funny because she kept saying "ahh! i hate this! it’s too hard! I can’t get it! AHH!" but then whenever I said "okay well do you want to stop?" "NO WAIT! one more!"

soon she was even beating me…that was annoying lol. Then when I was ready to quit she wanted to keep going! Oh boy…did I create a wii monster? lol I love my mom she’s so funny.

I can’t wait to see her play against my dad! lol That is going to be hilarious!

SOOOO good news today! I talked to my boss and finally I am bartending on the 13th of this month! About time! 🙂
Sometimes when you plan something, well, the plan never seems to go the way you want it to. At least it seems that way with me. I thought I would have been out of training and into bartending a long time ago! But I am just now getting to work my first event….oh well, one step at a time. At least I am getting what I want, just not as fast. I am so impatient! ARG!

So yea I am spending more time studying my drink cards now! Tomorrow morning I am sending off my resume and my headshot for a chance to be in the sequel movie to Twilight "New Moon" so wish me luck! I am so greatful to have a friend in the business to help me out. I can’t thank him enough for his efforts 🙂

It’s rare that I meet a genuinely nice person who wants to help me out when they barely know me. It shows me that even though it’s good to be cautious (especially in the talent business ) it’s worth it to trust in the good in people most of the time 🙂

So after I send that off in the mail, I am going to go get my new tabs, and try to hit the gym before I work at 6:00. Alrighty goodnight diary!
