nights in rodanthe
I am a big fan of nicholas sparks, and so when I found out that his book Nights In Rodanthe was coming out as a movie I got so excited! I loved the book so much!
My mom and I went tonight to see it and oh my gosh…it was so romantic, so heartbreaking, and so beautiful….. Yes they changed the way it was in the book, but it had to be that way in order for the movie not to be 3 hours long, so I didn’t criticize too much.
I love everything about the story. It shows that you can fall in love passionately at any age, and to look outside the box. That maybe everything you have isn’t all there is, there can always be more. And how both Richard Gear and Diane Lane were so natural. Not young GORGEOUS and made up, but two middle aged real, natural looking people falling in love.
I cannot say it enough…Diane Lane is an amazin actreess! More and more she is winning my heart ^_^ I think this movie did the trick….also because I could really connect with what she was going through.
The movie did make me feel a bit lonely, and definitely brought back memories of old feelings….but it also helped me realize I shouldn’t worry so much about being alone, because even if I am alone for many more years, I know it will happen for me someday ^_^ someday I will fall in love again. Until then I’m going to be just fine on my own, like I always have been ^_^. Fortunately I dont NEED to have someone by my side. Im a strong gal. *flexes muscles* hehe
no really I am. I can do 7 pullups without support! …eh hem um not to brag…or anything…any who….
I’m really glad they didn’t butcher the book ^_^ Nicholas Sparks should be pleased! 🙂
goodnight diary ^_^

Thanks for the note 🙂 But neither of us are traditional…plus the 1st time I was married I followed all the “rules” of wedding etiquette and we ended up divorced LOL 🙂 Plus his parents and my parents actually got ready together on their wedding days and they are still happily married…over 30 years for both sets of parents 🙂 That’s why those “rules” don’t hold much weight with us 🙂
